Eye Makeup tips and Tricks
Most people are going to see a pimple on their face from time to time somewhere between the ages of 12 and 30. Some are more prone to this problem and some are naturally blessed with clear skin. That does not mean a random pimple is not going to pop up though. For those that fight with acne all of the time, some changes can lessen the amount of pimple as well as how often someone has a breakout. One thing that can help would be to find makeup for acne sufferers. This is made a little differently so it does not add to the problem as much as regular makeup can.
Good makeup for acne will be made with less oil than typical brands. Many have some type of petroleum base. This is especially true for creams and foundations. This is because it spreads evenly and thinly this way, and also it helps hold it together for longer on your face. You want to find an oil free type of foundation if you want to avoid breakouts. This may be something you have to reapply during the day, but you can still look good without worrying that your makeup is clogging your pores so badly that you are going to have a breakout the next morning.

You can use the same rules when buying things like eye shadow and blush. These may have oils in them even though you think of them as dry makeup items. You may even find blush that is labeled as makeup for acne problems. Again, this will not have the staying power that you may want, but because blush is usually only worn in the evening for special occasions, this should not be a huge problem. Your eyeshadow is going to fade faster, but of all the makeup items you may use, this is the fastest and easiest to reapply, even when you are far from home.
You may want to see if you can find special makeup for acne. This may have something in it that effectively fights off breakouts. The problem with something like this is that it can be expensive and you never know if it is going to work for you or not. The best thing you can do is ask around for recommendations or look online for reviews to see if something is worth the asking price or not. You can use the same principles when searching out cleaning solutions for acne as well. These are just as important to keeping acne at bay as your choice of makeup.
It should go without saying that the best makeup for acne is no makeup at all. Some people can go with out it and look great, but if you suffer from acne problems, you may not feel that you are one of these people. Have a good cleaning regime going, which means cleaning your skin gently both day and night, as well as adopting better habits, like not putting your fingers and hands on your face all day. Those things alone can lessen the number of pimples you get. If you need makeup, make sure you get some that will be good for your face, and clean it off entirely each night before bed without exceptions.
